Second Stage Round 8: Zadar - FMP BG 76-65

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of SerbianFMP BG (11-13) on the court of second ranked Croatian Zadar . Visitors were defeated by Zadar 76-65 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of FMP BG. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Zadar made 26-of-32 charity shots (81.3 percent) during the game. FMP BG was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Montenegrin point guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-1990) who scored that evening 20 points and 5 rebounds and Lovro Mazalin (204-1997) supported him with 20 points. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by swingman Filip Barna (201-1999) did not help to save the game for FMP BG . Guard Lazar Stefanovic (201-2002, college: UCLA) added 11 points for the guests. Four FMP BG players scored in double figures. FMP BG's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Croatian champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with defeated FMP BG.
